In November 2013, the member states of the Bureau of International Exhibitions elected the UAE to host the World Expo 2020 in Dubai.
On May 29, 2020, the member states approved the postponement of the 2020 Dubai World Expo. Therefore, the 2020 Dubai World Expo dates have been officially changed from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022. The event will retain the name “Expo 2020 Dubai.”
It is the first World Expo in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA); Expo 2020 Dubai is going to welcome 25 million visitors from all corners to create a new world, bring the earth together, and reimagine tomorrow.
It will provide emotional inspiration, intellectual inspiration, and visual impact in 182 days. More than 200 participants -including countries, enterprises, multilateral organizations, and educational institutions, and millions of tourists will create the largest and one of the most diverse World’s Expos.
